We've had several responses to our call for information from our readers. The first is quite interesting and the reader concerned is quite happy to have his comments and identity published.

Yet another unfortunate individual who crossed paths with Michael Earle and suffered as a direct consequence...

We just discover your blog about M.EARLE, and I have to say, it’s amazing….never ever see any people like this I my life.

And I send you all my congratulation as you deserve it, to have done this blog.

Well, you probably know about it, but this guy did start a project here in Marbella, in La Zagaleta for our client, so , he did start the design, but disappear with 400 000€, and then said to our client than he lose the money by been attacked in Madrid on a train if I’m not wrong, and people stool the money.

So, that’s at this stage than the client call me to finished over the design of the house with another one Architect.

But then this was a big mess, as the client got problem with his loan,(because this money come from the first payment of the loan) so now, we have the problem than we can’t get a penny before finishing the structure’s of the house and we talk about more or less an amount of 600 000€….. so difficult to find the right builder who is going to be able to support this until getting paid..

I know, also, we was doing a magazine call, Diseño Earle if I’m right, and this magazine was actually fantastic, what is going on with this? Is any body keep going this magazine?

I will help regarding to chase that if you have any need, because we’d like to get back this money for our client and then we finished our project in a good way..

We had an interesting encounter with an old colleague last week. Naturally the conversation turned to what a liar, theif and cheat our little Binky is, when this person - who was party to quite a lot of information at Diseño Earle - mentioned to us that Villa La Jara, Binky's pseudo-contemporary monstrosity of a villa (the only piece of work everr actually undertaken by Binky and, it has to be said, finished to abismally low standards) was....wait for it...also a project ripped off from investors from the United States.

They never got their investment back, you won't be surprised to hear.

Through analytics we see lots of information about the visitors to our site. We're pleased to say that we regularly get visits from many countries throughout the world and, particularly pleasingly, mainly from territories where we know Binky has either worked or has tried to work.

In light of this latest revelation, we thought it would be interesting to see if there are any other stories about Binky stealing money from people, so we'd like to hear from our regular visitors.

We've received an interesting email from yet another company who conducted work for Michael Earle (Marketing Director of Layan Hills Estate) and....would you believe it...have not received payment.

An organisation called blob3dstudio provided Mike with some renders, presumably during one of the periods when he was unable to produce any of his own as all his employees had walked out on him as he refused to pay their wages.

Well, we have to say that we were astounded to hear that Mike had paid a nominal gesture towards the total amount owed back in August...that's certainly more than he ever did in Spain...but then since then he appears to have reverted to type and simply ignored the outstanding debt.

Michael Earle (Marketing Director of Layan Hills Estates) has a modus operandi that's so simple it's stunning. Talk people into doing work for you without paying them at the outset. Conduct your business as if you are an honest, successful achiever. Don't pay people for your progress.

He's spent years doing this and it seems that's still the way he operates.

Obviously things have taken a slight turn for the worse in that Michael Earle (Marketing Director of Layan Hills Estates) now has 2 failed businesses behind him and is having to work for someone else, but the thievery continues.

We're sorry for blob3dstudio and hope they get their money, but let's face it, it 'aint gonna happen.

Interest in our blog has really picked up in the last 2 weeks and especially from Thailand. We thought it would be a good idea to post a brief resumé of just a what an unpleasant little conman the "Marketing Director" of Layan Hills Estate is.

You can find more detailed information throughout the pages of this blog of course, but the basics are this :

+ Michael Earle (Marketing Director of Layan Hills Estate) refused to pay his employees, suppliers and contractors for periods from 3 -10 months across 2008. These were honest workers who had done what was asked of them. They have families that they were unable to feed as a consequence

+ To avoid paying the money Michael (Marketing Director of Layan Hills Estate) owed these people he faked an armed robbery whilst he was "conducting a deal" in Madrid involving a suitcase of money. There are no police records to corroborate this

+ Michael Earle (Marketing Director of Layan Hills Estate) systematically took money for works from clients in Spain, then invented excuses about these works being help up at the Malaga College of Architects thereby preventing him from undertaking what he had been paid for. In most cases he had not even submitted the plans for approval

+ Michael Earle (Marketing Director of Layan Hills Estate) consistently lied to advertisers in Modern Design Magazine about the print run - he told advertisers they were paying for 20,000 printed copies and tens of thousands of downloaded copies each edition. The reality was 10,000 printed copies and a few thousand downloaded copies each month

+ Michael Earle (Marketing Director of Layan Hills Estate) withheld Social Security payments for all his emplyees that he was obliged to pay by law. This resulted in Michael's pocket swelling whilst his employees lost their rights to the Social Security system in Spain

+ Michael Earle (Marketing Director of Layan Hills Estate) refused to make any of employees redundant from his bankrupt farce of a company, meaning they were unable to sign onto the dole in a desperate attempt to feed their famililes

+ Michael Earle (Marketing Director of Layan Hills Estate) took Sidekick Trish on a luxury holiday to Morocco whilst his employees went months without wages. They ingeniously posted their holiday snaps on Facebook, then tried to claim they were belated pictures (by exactly 1 year) when they got found out

+ Michael Earle (Marketing Director of Layan Hills Estate) conned investors into parting with millions of euros to fund countless fruitless business trips to Dubai. His invesotrs lost every penny funding Mike's fantasy lifestyle

+ Michael Earle (Marketing Director of Layan Hills Estate) has subsequently been found guilty of over 50 counts of embezzlement and Social Security fraud by the Spanish courts. These verdicts are all publicly available online.

+ Currently Michael Earle (Marketing Director of Layan Hills Estate) owes approx. €2.5m to everybody who has ever had anything to do with him whatsoever

+ Michael Earle (Marketing Director of Layan Hills Estate) fled Spain to Thailand where he conned investors from UPL into backing his new company. Surprise surprise, Michael and Trish lived extravagant lifestyles whilst their employees and investors were owed money

+ Michael Earle (Marketing Director of Layan Hills Estate) is using copywrited materials from people to whom he owes significant sums of money to begin re-printing Modern Design Magazine in Thailand. Based on quotes we received from his printers, he is pulling the same old stunt there of claiming 10,000 printed copies but only distributing 5,000

+ Michael Earle (Marketing Director of Layan Hills Estate) has since been sacked from Modern Zen Architects and has resurfaced as an Estate Agent for Layan Hills Estate

We have come across - with considerable mirth and incredulity it has to be said - the following posting on Youtube (Dated 26th April 2010) :

So, mighty Michael Earle International Architect has slid down the greasy pole somewhat to Paperboy and sometime Real Estate Agent.

It's hardly surprising that Mike has finally smelt the coffee and realised that he's never going to make it as an International Architect. Quite apart from being talentless at it there's more dirt floating around about him than there is in the Mekong Delta.

What is amazing though is that he's still hanging around in Phuket, desperately trying to scab out an existence. Phuket is a fairly small community and we understand he's already put a few noses out of joint, so quite how he expects anyone to take him seriously is a mystery.

Also amazing is that the Layan Hills Resort have apparently not done their due diligence before hiring Binky as their Marketing Director?!?! You'd imagine that, prior to hiring any of your big hitters, you'd have an ask / search around to see what you can dig up. Binky's online reputation is in tatters and it would appear that Modern Zen Architects won't be giving him a particularly shining reference either.

We have no axe to grind with the Layan Hills Resort, and we feel sorry that there will inevitably been a degree of Binky-CONtamination that can only have an adverse effect on their operation, but that's what happens when you're an individual of the calibre of Mike...everything you touch eventually turns rotten. Should Layan Hills be reading this blog, please advise us of as / if / when you take the only sensible step available and sack Mike and we'll happily broadcast the fact for you.

And one other thing. Regular readers of our blog will be aware of what an absolute joke Binky is at marketing...the hundreds of amateur blogs created to try and manage his reputation; atrocious literacy; the ridiculous postings about his sham organisations on Hotfrog etc; the complete inability to contact any of his companies other than via an "info@" email....the list goes on and on.

We thought Trisha Miller Marketing Guru was laughable ("Architecture is art. Why not live in a work of art" - remember that one?!). Michael Earle Marketing Director is just so ridiculous we've all wet ourselves with laughter. Hang on to your hats, Layan Hills - it's gonna be a roller coaster ride!

Michael Earle Architect - €74,000 GUILTY verdicts in 2 days!

Easter in Spain is a big event. Unlike many Western countries, they have as public holidays the Thursday and Friday before Easter Sunday. This year that meant that the first working day of April this year was, in fact, yesterday - Monday 5th April.

A casual glance at the Boletín Oficial de la Provincia de Málaga reveals that sweet Michael Earle Architect (not forgetting his ever-faithful Sidekick Trish, of course) has been found

GUILTY OF EMBEZZLEMENT

to the tune of €74,000 already this April.

Blimey Mikey - that's some going! The courts have only been open for 1.5 days in April!

Amongst the claimants was Binky's ex Sales Director - claiming for approx. 7 MONTHS OF UNPAID SALARIES squandered by Michael Earle Architect.

Sales Director, Operations Director (x2), Finance Director, Marketing Director, Magazine Director....all of these senior positions (ultimately they meant nothign more than P.A to Binky, of course) are amongst those owed money by Earle.

More marketing genius from Michael Earle Architect

We note with considerable mirth a recent attempt by Binky to counteract the damaging effect this blog is having on his life in Thailand. Regular web users will have noted that Mike has been engaging in what is called "Reputation Management" on the Search Engines.

This is basically trying to cover up dirt (of which there's plenty floating around about Michael Earle Architect) by posting hundreds of positive comments about yourself.

Mike has apparently been spending his time creating pointless, amateur blogs about himself instead of trying to earn an honest buck (note the irony) and using cheap listings sites such as Hotfrog in an attempt to get links to our blog pushed further and further down google.

It hasn't worked very well. In fact, all it's served to do is make Mike look rather silly indeed given the links to most of these sites don't even work! If the man is that sloppy about his marketing imagine what his architecture is like?!

We even understand that Binky is using this very blog in an effort to sell himself to fresh victims!!! Ho ho ho! Another GREAT idea Mike! Perhaps Trisha Miller, Marketing guru was behind this one? Carry on the good work chaps.

But back to the point. We came across one of Mike's recent efforts the other day in yet another entry into Hotfrog. Written characteristically illiterately, it reads thus :

Well we have to admit to having taken our eye off of the ball over the question of how much money do Michael Earle Architect and Sidekick Trish now owe the unfortunate individuals who have ever worked for or with them in Spain.

The last we reported we had seen, with our own eyes and on a public site, debts amassing from the EMBEZZLEMENT OF WAGES AND SOCIAL SECURITY FRAUD amount to over €1.5m

The site is www.bopmalaga.org for those interested to see with their own eyes. Just go there and search for the filthy word EARLE and you'll see what we can see.

We just had a quick look at GUILTY VERDICTS ISSUED BY THE SPANISH COURTS AGAINST OUR HAPLESS HEROES for the month of March alone.

EMBEZZLEMENT AND SOCIAL SECURITY FRAUD don't forget.

RIPPING OFF INNOCENT EMPLOYEES, THEIR FAMILIES, CLIENTS, SUPPLIERS

The scores on the doors so far for GUILTY verdicts issued in March total approximately €175,000

Add this onto the €88,100 or so (excluding legal costs) for which our pleasant pooches have been found GUILTY throughout February and we're slowly but surely approaching the €2m mark.

Don't forget, this does not include monies owed (estimated to be approx. €3m) to clients and investors conned into parting with their money, nor many more demands we know have been issued but that haven't yet been processed by the courts and we're nicely on our way to double figures.

Modern Design Magazine - attention all advertisers!

Are you an advertiser in the Thai rip-off version of Modern Design Magazine that has already been published in Spain?

How many copies have you been told by Michael Earle Architect and / or Sidekick Trish are printed and distributed?

You see, we know from our painful experience with the magazine in Spain that Binky and trish succumbed quite quickly to the obvious rip-off ploy of claiming that many more copies of the magazine were distributed than actually were and embezzling the advertising revenue accordingly.

Easy money (which, of course, is Binky's favourite kind of money).

The media pack for Modern design Magazine magazine in Thailand quite clearly states that 10,000 copies are printed and distributed.

Well, we beg to differ. Have a look at the print quote we have come across (we have hidden the details of the printer), signed by Trisha Miller. Also note that it states "Quantity requested".

Now, why would Trish request a print-run of only 5,000 copies and not the full 10,000 copies? Perhaps they were thinking of having the magazine printed in 2 batches so they could lose out on the substantial economies of scale you get with printed goods? Let's face it, their thieving actions have constantly proved that money matters too much to them to do anything the expensive way round, so this is highly unlikely. So why only 5,000 copies...?

5,000 copies, not the 10,000 copies claimed by our slightly dishonest heroes.

But what have they told their advertisers?

If you are advertising in Modern Design Magazine then protect your investment - make sure you have Mike and Trish prove to you - PROVE TO YOU - that they are producing what you are paying for.

Modern Design Magazine - where are you?

Well we're now well into March. But where is the March edition of Thailand's copy of the Spanish version of Modern Design Magazine? We understand that it's still not hit the streets...

Given Binky and Sidekick's reputations (liars, thieves, cheats) and their track records in Spain (approx. €5.5m owed having been found guilty of embezzlement and Social Security fraud) we hate to say it but we suspect there are some slightly nervous advertisers floating around Phuket hoping that the adverts that they have paid for in Modern Design Magazine are not simply the next casualties of Michael Earle Architect's trail of fraud, deceit and theft.

Time will tell. Let's face it, the writing on the wall does not look good...Binky and Sidelick have been fired from Modern Zen Architects and...surprise surpise...are starting to rack up debts in Thailand. Not a good place to do that guys. We even have a copy of an email from Sidekick to Binky worrying about "being paid a visit" by some angry individuals who had not been paid...we'll publish that shortly!

If you turn out to be an advertiser duped by Binky please let us know. We'll do what we can to make sure everyone else knows in the fullness of time...

Modern Design Magazine, Thailand

Greetings to our readers. We apologise for the lack of activity over the previous week but are pleased to be back in the saddle. Big congratulations to one of our team who is now the proud parent to a delightful baby girl.

Just a quick message this time round whilst we gather our thoughts for the next revelation about Michael Earle Architect and Sidekick Trish.

It concerns their activity with Modern Design Magazine in Thailand. We have reason to believe that - surprise, surprise - Binky and Trish are tellin porky pies about the print run of their rehashed magazine (ripped off from us, don't forget - WRITTEN, DESIGNED, PRODUCED, MARKETED BY TALENTED, HONEST INDIVIDUAL ALL OWED THOUSANDS OF EUROS BY MICHAEL EARLE ARCHITECT)

It doesn't take much imagination to see how Binky and Trish would be tempted to diddle their figures in a desparate attempt to con hapless advertisers into parting with cash.

They certainly did this in Spain. We should know as the Sales Director of Modern Design Magazine in Spain is one of our merry band! (Interesting to note how the only people now involved with the magazine in Thailand are Binky and Sidekick, isn't it?)

If you are thinking about advertising in Modern Design Magazine, please ask to see proof of the print run and it's distribution list - we believe these are not quite what Binky says they are.

Michael Earle - from international architect to...erm...local paperboy?

We were contacted a few days ago by one of our well-wishers in Thailand. Amongst the content of their email was the following :

"Something interesting to note: An ex-Modern Zen staff member saw Michael Earle delivering magazines in Patong Beach. International, ex-Professor of Architecture, reduced to magazine delivery boy."

We find this quite amusing.

Of course, the bit about ex-professor of Architecture is incorrect - it's one of Binky's Walter Mitty fantasies; we contacted the Boston Register of Architects a year or so ago and they'd never heard of him.

But we suspect that Binky and Sidekick Trish are now desperately hanging onto the notion of making some money out of Modern Design Magazine as they're finding it incresingly difficult to dupe people over the whole architect thing.

Don't forget folks, Modern Design Magazine was written, designed, produced and marketed by members of this blog who are all OWED AT LEAST 3 MONTHS OF WAGES, EMBEZZLED BY MICHAEL EARLE ARCHITECT

The thought of Binky and sidekick running round the beach dumping off bundles of their re-hashed magazine does put a wee smile on our faces. If Michael Earle Architect were a successful businessman of any standing whatsoever he would, of course, employ low-income driver to deliver his magazine. He did this in Spain - they didn't get paid, that goes without saying - so we presume times are tough in Thailand for Binky to stoop so low.

If anyone can take a quick snapshot of Binky running round with a bundle under his arm please send it to us. We will reward you with whatever the Baht equivalent is of €100. We're hoping to start a "Binky Gallery" and such a photo would make a fantastic first exhibition.

It really does seem as though Michael Earle Architect and sidekick Trisha Miller are having a few problems in Thailnd. We have plenty of unconfirmed reports that Modern Zen Architecture has either shut or is operating without Michael Earle Architect and sidekick Trisha Miller. Of course, until we have any statement from Modern Zen these remain nothing other than unconfirmed reports by interested parties in Thailand...

Well done UPL, and we're sorry for any harm ever meeting Binky the Clown in the first place might ever have caused you...we know how you feel.

It also appears the hundreds of inane blogs that were set up to try and cover up the many, many unfavourable search results about this dynamic duo and to help cheat their way (surprise surprise) to the top of Google all appear to have come undone at the seams.

If you search the fools' names on google you will be barraged by sites like trishamillerspain.com / michaelearlethailandinfo.com / michaelearlecontemporaryarchitectthailand.com and so on and so forth ad infinitum.

If you ever wasted your time to look at these sites you would have been quite puzzled as to why our friends (especially Trisha Miller with her marketing pedigree) wanted to associate themselves with such amateur, repetitive, pointless drivvle. These ridiculous sites, that cost time, effort and money to produce (surely that time, effort and money would have been better served trying to earn an honest crust rather than covering up their dishonest modus operandi?) served for nothing other than to demonstrate what a cowboy Michael Earle architect and all related to him really is.

We repeat - these sites were nothing more than a cynical attempt at "reputation management" (note that term, Trisha Miller marketing guru, it might come in handy on your CV) - hiding bad references amongst hundreds of good references. Of course, it actually helps your credibility if these good references are written by someone other than yourselves, but I guess that's not covered until chapter 2 of "How to become a marketing guru overnight" huh?

A New Dawn for Modern Zen?

Hello readers. Well, it's been an interesting few days. Our fisrt message in the Thai vernacular - saying what a liar, a thief and a cheat Michael Earle is - and a flurry of messages apparently from Phuket, suggesting Michael Earle Architect and sidekick Trisha Miller might have left Modern Zen Architecture.

We understand that they have actually technically been fired, having ripped off another unfortunate investor who at least had the sense of investment to maintain some kind of authority over them.

Now, we cannot state for certain whether any of this is true - it could be a master hoax by Binky, the master hoaxer, to get us to back off with blog.

But then again it could just be true.Afterall, a leopard never changes his spots and, with the help of this blog, it's entirely possible that the rot that is Michael Earle and sidekick Trish got found out before things went as far as they did in Spain where he OWES MILLIONS IN UNPAID SALARIES, CONTRACTS AND SOCIAL SECURITY CONTRIBUTIONS

If this is the case then Modern Zen have just played a masterstroke and done the best thing possible for their business in getting rid of Binky and sidekick.

Michael Earle Architect - it's all gone very quiet over there

We've noticed a rather drastic reduction in web activity concerning all things Michael "Binky the clown" Earle and Trisha Miller over the last few days.

Is it because their web resource has finally had enough of being systematically ripped off? Of having his wages withheld as happened to us all in Spain?

As a conman of no concrete substance whatsoever, Binky relies very heavily on online marketing to build up a false persona about himself - without this he is nothing.

Of course, the presence f this blog makes life a little more difficult for Binky and that's precisely what it's all about - trying to prevent him from lying, stealing and cheating his way through life.

It appears that the Earles are still quite active on Twitter - we suspect that is Trisha Miller, Marketing guru showing how little she understands about marketing. Keep it up Trish - any marketeer worth their salts understands what a total waste of time Twitter is for marketing, but we guess it keeps you off the streets, ripping off old ladies and hapless investors.

Better get your web presence up again quickly Binky. You're pretty finished already, we suspect. ou'll be totally finished without some good web guys at your disposal...

Don't forget, Michael Earle Architect claimed that his company - Diseño Earle Architects - was unable to pay wages to his staff and suppliers owing to the downturn in the construction industry :

+ he had been refusing to pay his suppliers and contractors since January 2008

+ he was allegedly robbed at gunpoint of a suitcase containing €250,000 cash in Madrid the day before he was due to pay his staff in November. As you can see, Michael Earle Architect kept the Spanish courts quite busy in 2009.

You'll have seen in an earlier post that we have uncovered AT LEAST 38 COURT SUMMONS AGAINST MICHAEL EARLE ARCHITECT ACROSS 2009.

Don't forget, these are just the documents that are publicly available and that we have seen with our own eyes. We know of several other cases brought against Binky that for some reason we can't find online, but given the volume of other cases against him it's all pretty immaterial really - you get the point even without them.

All of these summons are for cases of WITHOLDING WAGES (whilst the money was there - don't forget the luxury holiday to Morocco the Earles took whilst the rest of us were wondering how to eat over Xmas 2008) or SOCIAL SECURITY FRAUD.

Well, we can now bring to your attention the existance of a MINIMUM 50 GUILTY VERDICTS AGAINST MICHAEL EARLE ARCHITECT FROM 2009.

That's 50 GUILTY VERDICTS FROM 38 SUMMONS. Not bad going Binky! That figure is actually made up from 32 COUNTS OF GUILTY FOR NON-PAYMENT OF WAGES and 18 COUNTS OF GUILTY OF SOCIAL SECURITY FRAUD. Hello to our growing band of interested parties. As we continue our jaunt through oficial Spanish court documents we come merrily to 2009 - a monumental year in the fortunes of Michael Earle Architect, Diseño Earle Architects, Trisha Miller Marketing guru and countless employees, suppliers and clients who were effectively ROBBED of their money.

Bit by bit we continue to reveal what we can prove of the trail of financial and social carnage left by Michael Earle Architect as he lied, cheated and stole his way through the year.

As a reminder, simply visit the pages of the "Boletín Oficial de la Provincia de Málaga" with a Spanish speaking friend, perform a simple search on the name Earle, sit back and prepare to be amazed.

We have seen the paperwork for a total of 38 court summons against Michael Earle Architect across 2009. Most of these relate to Social Security Fraud, where Michael Earle Architect embezzled his employees Social Security contributionswhilst telling them that they'd been paid up to date.

He used these embezzled monies to fund his deluded lifestyle as an international architect and to take his sidekick on a luxury holiday to morocco at Xmas whilst his employees and suppliers were unable to feed their families.

All in all, that's a lot of spending just to make yourself an international laughing stock. Oh to have been a fly on the wall in those Dubai meetings where Michael Earle Architect was asked to explain accusations made against him of fraud and theft!

Who knows - perhaps Binky was trying to go straight in 2008, only amassing fraudulent debts of €79k - good effort Binky. Alas, the sorry tale that unfolds in 2009 kinda dispells that possibility.

So, a running total of €179,018 owed by Michael Binky Earle Architect across 2007-2008.

In putting together our catalogue of cash crimes committed by Michael Earle Architect, I checked official records for 2007 just to make sure we hadn't missed anything. I have to say, I thought the rot and desperation only began to set in around mid 2008; it would appear I was wrong...

We've been keeping an eye on the "Boletín Oficial de la Provincia de Málaga" records that are publicly available online - basically a record of all oficial court proceedings on a daily basis for the Málaga province.

All of the charges against Michael Earle Architect are covered in the Boletín.

If you are interesed to see for yourselves the plethora of accusations / verdicts / sanctions against Michael Earle and Trisha Miller (yes Trish, you're named and found GUILTY in there personally - watch this space), then obviously you'll need to speak Spanish, but rest assured we'll summarise the 100s of documents we've digested and print screen shots of some of the juicier ones for all to see.

Using all of the work conducted by staff who STILL remain unpaid and are winning their court cases here in Spain, Michael Earle Architect, Trisha Miller and the Modern Zen team are trying to create an online magazine.

Modern Design Magazine was the publication produced by Diseño Earle to spread the gospel of Modern Design and generate leads.

The magazine was lovingly produced by staff who worked hard and were passionate about modern design.

The online version, we're assuming they can't afford to print a proper one, even gives writers credits to those involved. Those who remain unpaid and have court cases against Michael Earle and Diseño Earle.

To add insult to injury, the web design is appalling and isn't in the same league as the design of the original magazine.

Well, it's the 5th January 2010. Happy New Year to our growing number of readers. We've just come through the festive season and we're sure that for at least 50 ex employees and suppliers of Diseño Earle Architects and its incompetant CEO Michael Earle Architect, their minds went back 1 year to a period of misery, of not being able to put food onto their tables to feed their families.

+ Michael Earle Architect embezzled their wages (anywhere up to 10 months)
+ Michael Earle Architect took his girlfriend on a luxury holiday with those wages
+ Michael Earle Architect lied about paying their Social Security contributions meaning they couldn't even sign on the dole
+ Michael Earle Architect fled the Spanish authorites, owing approx. €5m

Now, as our regular readers will know, we are set to reveal the contents of the 100+ official legal documents we have access to that find our architectural clown GUILTY of practically everyhting we accuse him of on this blog.

Today we had a quick peek at the documents made available in 2010 - that's over the last 5 days (including the weekend)! So far Diseño Earle - and by extension, of course, Micheal Earle Architect - have been ordered to pay compensation to the tune of €52,000 to just 2 individuals!!!!

Believe us, this is just the tip of the iceberg.

€52,000 owed by Michael Earle Architect in court cases that have found him guilty this year alone.

Michael Earle Architect - the wall of shame

We've been a tad slow compiling the evidence against Michael Earle Architect and the now bankrupt Diseño Earle Architects that we've been talking about for a while.

That's partly because of the encroaching festive season and partly because we're all busy with our jobs. Obviously jobs that pay a fair salary to us, rather than rip us off.

But rest assured, we have most of the details we've been looking for now and it's just a case of compiling the facts and figures.

Don't forget - these are facts and figures relating to :

+ Unpaid salaries for hard-working employees
+ Unpaid invoices to 3rd party suppliers who completed their sides of a legally-binding contract
+ Social Security defaults that Michael Earle Architect was obliged to pay by law that he refused to do. For over 2 years, it turns out. (Don't forget there, that anybody unfortunate enough to have worked for Michael Earle Architect, who didn't have their Social Security payments honoured were ineligible to claim unemployment benefit once Binky had fled to Thailand).

We have to say that the facts and figures uncovered so far (publicly available, not made up like Michael Earle's deluded architectural fantasies) have surpassed our expectations!

Plenty more court summons than we expected.

Plenty more guilty verdicts than we expected.

Plenty more Social Security defaults than we expected.

Much more money owed than we expected.

As we keep saying, we will bring all this out into the open when we have time to present the facts clearly and succinctly, but we close this posting with an interesting observation.

In the year since Michael Earle's pathetic attempt to fake an armed robbery in order not to pay months of salaries owed to employess led to the collapse of Diseño Earle Architects (interestingly, still no proof from the likes of John Cartwright has ever surfaced - speaks volumes that, wouldn't you say?), Michael has still used an old publicity shot of the company in a desperate attempt to add credibility to his filthy dirty name. A quick flick through the Google results this morning shows that apparently Diseño Earle is still a solvent company:

We can 100% tell you that this company is bankrupt and no longer in Spain. We're also quite sure the Spanish authorities, to whom Michael Earle and Diseño Earle owe a million euros, and even more once the court cases for unpaid wages are over with, would really love to know that the company is trading again.

So, which is it? Modern Zen? Diseño Earle? Either way, all the latest activity shows that Michael Earle, architect, is still struggling with his credibility.

In an attempt to populate the search engine results in Google, Michael Earle Architect Spain and his team at Modern Zen are desperately trying to cover up all the negative press about Michael Earle, Diseño Earle and Modern Zen by publishing Michael's work (which is being claimed he did, when in actual fact it was done by his unpaid staff at Diseño Earle) on various websites to fill the search results in the vain hope potential clients won't notice this blog.

They've even made a blog for him!!

Will this work? Sure, they'll have lots of pointless postings around the web about Michael Earle Spain, but will it stop people finding this blog? Of course not!

Mr. Earle owes me more than 1,200 Euros from August of 2008. At the time I was promised payment, and, suddenly, one day the office closed and I have not been able to get back in contact with anybody from Diseno Earle…

I do not know if you have knowledge of the whereabouts of Mr. Earle, but, if you have I would be grateful for a way to locate to him and to remind him of the pending amount he owes me.

So Nieves, we can only tell you that Micheal Earle now runs a company called Modern Zen Architects in Thailand. He is over there avoiding the other 50 people he owes money to. Some amounts are similar to yours, others come into millions - a huge amount owed to clients, employees, suppliers, printers and also the social services here in Spain. Sorry to deliver the bad news, but heh, best of luck to you... and if we hear of anything at all we'll be glad to help.

We have had an up-and-down journey with our little truth blog, but it looks like the world understands the need to eradicate web felons like Modern Zen architects Phuket Thailand. Poor old Binky just doesn't seem to get the way the world works... Okay Michael Earle architect (we use that term lightly of course), let's get it straight.... People work for you, you pay them! People pay you to complete a job, you complete that job. It's very, very simple to understand.

So now you are getting all flustered, writing to forums where we have very solid SEO inbounds and telling them that we are running quote: a slanderous and defamatory blog... no no no binky. You are the perpetrator, you just weren't smart enough to take heed of the old term... 'you sew you reap', and now as our blog performs it's vital duty of protecting the innocent from your twisted ideals - you get angry.

So Binks, it just so happens that the forums understand our plight, they can see by the content of this blog, that we are real, that we stand by the truth, and we want to stop people like you using the internet as a tool to aid and abet fraudulent activities. As a little reward for us, your latest desperate note has itself flagged up your devious nature and dodgy activities to a whole community of bloggers and design fans. Well done binky, your own corporate self destruction is just what the world needs - because let's admit it - you are never going to pay anybody back what you stole... and that my friends is why this blog exists.

Our friends at Modern Zen Architects, Thailand, have been busy on the web over the last few weeks. In a perfect example of gross misunderstanding of online marketing they are busy Twittering away to anybody who cares to listen (i.e nobody as the only followers they have are other online marketeers frantically trying to sell their services).

The approach is rather crude. Simply establish as many inbound links as humanly possible to the ever-informative Archiblog (www.modern-zen.com/archiblog/) and we'll shoot up the search rankings on google. Simple, hey Honey?

A quick look at Alexa gives some interesting facts n figures about our friends at Modern Zen Architects, Phuket, Thailand. Their global ranking is as poor as Phuket Michael Earle's business acumen and honesty levels - approx. 3.2millionth which we interpret to equal something like 150 visits per day. Presumably half of these are from disgruntled employees, clients, authorities etc etc and / or individuals who have been amused by the contents of our blogs and decided to see what all the fuss is about.

The rather lame Archiblog is likely to be receiving but a fraction of these visits.

So keep going, Modern Zen Architects, Phuket, Thailand. You'll break it one day!

What is also interesting is the list of main keywords that drive users to the website of modern Zen Architects, Thaialnd. The most popular being "Phuket Michael Earle". Oh dear. Typing these runes into Google in any language reveals approx. the first 7 entries on the first page of Google to be scathing criticisms of Phuket Michael Earle and Modern Zen Architects for the usual complaints ranging from dishonesty through to theft.

Okay, so the blog is flowing, and naturally we are having a bit of fun as we go along - but why are we so active? Let us tell you why. Trisha Miller - Modern Design Magazine's MD has been putting ad's in the classifieds of the Phuket Gazette. So what's that got to do with us?

The ad's are for new employees at Modern Zen architects Phuket, not just any old employees but 3d designers and architects etc etc. So? Well, how would you like a job with Modern Zen? Perhaps give up your day job, convince your partner it's a good idea to move to Thailand - give up your life for a bright new future in a new continent with Micheal Earle at the controls. Erm... computer says no! It wouldn't be the first time people had shifted families thousands of miles for Michael, and consequently not the first time he hadn't paid them. Even people the pair considered friends fell foul of this little number... so don't think it won't happen to you.

The Backlash...? You'll probably end up in Bangkok, divorced and with barely enough money for a Tuc Tuc to departures.

We, as a group are all for open debate. Admittedly so far the blog looks somewhat biased, even though it is kind of difficult to find anyone who is actually satisfied with Micheal Earle architect and his dodgy operations, in whatever form they arrive. Anyway we have been contacted by a certain Mr Oliver Letwin. I won´t quote what Mr Letwin said, as I´m sure he´d like to do that himself, but his general concern is that we are perhaps simply writing gratuitous nasties about Diseno Earle, Modern Zen architects and Modern Design Magazine - just for a bit of fun. He seems to think it is 'open season' on Michael Earle, and that we, as a jealous bunch of hard-done-by ex-employees are perhaps trying to ruin the career a perfectly good, honest, green, cutting-edge, talented designer.

Mr Letwin, you are exactly the type of person this blog is aimed at. An innocent potential investor in the Earle deception machine. Potentially the next person in line to lay down a significant sum to a man who has absolutely no recognisable scruples. We really hope that you are ready for the roller coaster ride of your life - but please read through our blog very carefully first before you make a very expensive mistake, we are sure that your hard-earned money is a precious as ours!

So; it looks like Modern Zen, Phuket are set to revive Modern Design Magazine, in one form or another. We don't know the name yet - but we assume it will be the same. Begs the question however, will they be using content that was created by people who were never paid for it? In other words, content that 'intellectually' doesn't belong to them. After looking into copyright laws (here and in Thailand), this would be yet another legal boundary blatantly disregarded by Trisha Miller MD of Modern Design Magazine and Michael Earle CEO of Modern Zen Architecture, Phuket. With their undying hankering for success, it must be very tempting for them to trample all over innocent people once again.

Be interesting to see what happens...

Diseño Earle - Honesty, Integrity, Transparency

It's interesting to note this bold statement by our friends at Diseño Earle Architects, Spain. They boldly state (as they do also with their latest facade of modern Zen Architects, Thailand) that they believe in H.I.T - Honesty, Integrity and Transparency....

Honesty - 50+ denuncias issued against them would suggest otherwise

Integrity - dissatisfied associates of theirs - be it employees, clients or suppliers - all telling their stories would suggest otherwise

Transparency - interesting to note that the only way you can now contact Diseño Earle Architects, Spain, is via sending an email. No contact number, no office address.

I have been given permission by a client of Michael Earle to use his name and the details of his experience with Diseño Earle.

Firstly, thank you Adam Chafe for contacting us and helping to reveal the truth about Michael Earle. He says :

"I am (or was) a client of Michaels and at first I had a great impresion of the complete team as described by Michael.

So much so that when I put my project in Nerja (Spain) out to tender, even though Diseno Earle were the most expensive I awarded the contract to them becaue of the confidence he gave me.

I gave them an initial deposit to start the works in Feburary 2008. The works started and I continued to pay interims up until August.

The workers on site told me that they hadn't been paid, nor indeed the sub contractors for three months.

When I asked Michael about the he started with various stories of cash flow problems due to a large project in Dubai and disputes with sub contractors.

He then continued to string me along with a series of lies. When I finally tracked him down at his office he blatantly lied to me and told me that he was sorry and that the 50K Euros he owed me would be paid back to me.

Please be aware that this is the last I have heard from Michael.........! Do not trust this man he lives in a Walter Mitty world....!

I hope for the sake of clients and employees that justice catches up with this man..............................................................!"

Next thing Modern Zen will be blaming us for all the problems. We are just waiting. When Diseno Earle actually had the audacity to occupy their offices (bit of a battle ground with suppliers and contractors holding vigils in the reception, desperate people taking a swing at Earle occasionally...) it was very common for the latest to leave his ranks to get the blame for all the troubles. Once, one person left after systematic abuse from Miller, and somehow got the blame for us all having to take a pay-cut. We were promised the short-fall at the end of the year. You guessed it, we never saw it again.

We were accused of being winging libelous threatening thugs on Sugarcane’s blog http://www.yourmarbella.com/forums/thread/51971.aspx by a supposed journalist who claims to be very satisfied with Michael Earle’s services. He warned us of the terrible consequences of writing untruths, and called us typical of the coast.

Perhaps he’d like to go to the police station and ask how many unresolved denuncias Diseno Earle and Michael Earle have to their name – then perhaps he could identify the meaning of thug. We are talking about families losing thousands of euros, home repossessions and complete and utter chaos caused by total dishonesty.

Let’s be clear about untruths, there are none on this website.

Let’s be clear about threats, the only threats we are aware of were from Michael Earle himself. He made it very clear at work and in an email that anyone denouncing him would not get their money. We completely disassociate ourselves with anyone making threats, that is not what this blog is all about. It’s about helping people unaware of the situation to avoid losing wages, savings and in some cases everything.

As for winging, obviously, after hearing nothing from Michael Earle, and his persistent absence in court, do we not have the right to complain about losing, on average - spread over the whole company, 4 months of our lives? We think we do. If we'd have been treated in any way fairly, this blog simply wouldn't exist.

Awareness is slowly being raised, people are starting to learn about the events that occurred behind closed doors at Diseno Earle. Also after mentioning on the blog about Modern Zen using a photo of all us ex (unpaid) employees to boost their image as a large force to be reckoned with in Asia, the photo has been replaced by a picture of their new employee. Poor girl, good luck for the future.

Halting any association with Modern Zen is a good thing, and we are very glad to get our faces off their new website.

Press Release - Michael Earle, architect, Spain and Thailand

The entire workforce of Diseno Earle Architects, Fuengirola, Spain took the decision to quit their jobs after a wages shortfall by phoney architect Michael Earle and his live-in partner Trisha Miller.

The problem came after the fifty odd strong workforce suffered months of wage delays - ending eventually with Mr Earle's claims that he was a victim of an armed robbery. The Spanish police have no record of the incident.

After promising to bring his staff up to date with payments owed, Earle received a down payment of roughly 250 thousand Euros from a client. As soon as the money reached the Diseno Earle bank account it was allegedly removed to fulfil a property deal in Paris, France in December 2008.

The following Monday morning Earle called his entire staff to a meeting where he explained what had supposedly happened. The employees report that Earle began to relay a narrative involving private investigators, guns and fast car pursuits. The 'story' apparently began in Madrid and ended in collaboration with the Gendarme in Paris where Earle assisted in the arrest of a notorious armed gang. He apparently ended the meeting by promising that once the gang's assets had been liquidated (in his words Ferraris, Lamborghinis, villas and land) that the staff would then be duly compensated. Most of them left the company immediately.

Now 6 months later, the staff, suppliers, freelance architects and builders remain unpaid. Also a number of client's projects allegedly still haven't broken ground, despite payments made to Diseno Earle. Earle now has over 50 denuncias against his name in Spain but continues to operate.

Earle is now focusing on Thailand where he has recently set up a new office claiming a workforce of 150 people. His new architectural company is now running under the label of Modern Zen.

Staff and suppliers are still turning up to court dates where neither Earle or his MD Nestor Baroni have turned up to answer claims against them.

The money is still missing and it appears that Earle and his partner are still managing to evade the question 'What really happened to the 250,000 euros?'

D-earle- how the dream became into a nightmare

When I first stepped at D Earle offices some time ago I felt impressed. Well dressed people, proffessionals, beautiful offices,bussines in Dubai/ Middle East, strict (silly) working policies and posh parties. I was amazed with the fact that after 3 years working in that great company I was going to be a happy owner of DEarle stocks. I had a great job in a great company!!! .
Suddenly, all this joy evaporated, to be exact at the end of the month.
That was the beggining of my nightmare. I got my first wages 3 months later. I bet you are thinking. Why would someone stay in a company like this????!!!!!.
I do not justify myself, but having 3 proffesional lyers, telling you stories of hope and company relaunching 8 hours a day take you to a parallel world, where all these might be true. In the bottom of my heart I really wanted this to be true.
What came after became worst and worst every day, people crying, shouting, begging for their money, wages. Families with no money for Xmas and more lies from the management.
They finally decided to close the company and run away to another country without looking back to start again building smoke castles.
Lets not allow these harmful behaviours please!!! Spread our testimonies , help us to stop these people!!

The dirtiest name on the Costa?

I am still in the process of looking for work, having been systematically lied to and cheated by Michael Earle, Trisha Miller and Nestor Baroni. Obviously, because of my experience and my qualifications, I am trying to get work in the construction / real estate industry. I find it truly staggering how many bad things I hear about Michael Earle. I have been in bars and overheard comments about him and his working practices. I have had potential employers look at me with the deepest sympathy upon reading the immortal words "Diseño Earle, Spain" on my CV (rest assured, this period of my life will one day be removed from my CV as I cannot imagine being associated with such a crook will do me any favours at all). I have even had recruitment consultants email me with questions regarding Michael Earle.

The Costa del Sol has a reputation as a breeding ground for rotten business. Presumably this is due in part to the casual attitude the authorities have towards clamping down on individuals like Michael Earle. Certainly within my time here (5 years, give or take), I have not encountered so much scandal and negativity relating to any individual or organisation as I have towards Michael Earle, Trisha Miller and Nestor Baroni!

Even the "Moroccan incident" (for those of you who do not know, Michael and Trisha jetted off for a luxury holiday in Morocco in Xmas 2008 whilst the rest of us struggled to pay the rent) has been mentioned to me by people totally unconnected to the whole sorry affair.

It would appear that Michael is slowly but surely getting the international fame he desperately chases. I'm not sure it's in the way he would have wanted it though, but there you go.

You sow, you reap.

Let's hope that Michael, Trisha and maybe "M.D Baroni" feel sufficiently moved to put their version of events here for the world to see and to clear their somewhat tarnished names. The floor is open...

Well, I should feel honoured to be the next response! Michael Earle, of Diseño Earle Architects in Spain, conducted himself in a truly shameful and disrespectful manner. Not only to his staff, but also to tradesman, suppliers and even the very clients he pretended to cherish so much. Ultimately, it is little wonder that there are so so many individuals and organisations that are queueing up to ensure that justice is served and to make sure that other human beings are not conned into having anything to do with Michael Earle, Trisha Miller or Nestor Baroni.

We can only hope that Michael Earle's latest business incarnation - the imaginatively named "Modern Zen" set up in Phukket, with an even more imaginative website (any Thais fancy their Modern Design Magazine ratecard prices in Spanish? No? thought not...) - is seen for what it truly is as quickly as possible. Keep reading these pages and pretty quickly I guess this is bound to happen.
