By our reckoning, that's about the same time he
FLED TO THAILAND TO AVOID PROSECUTION BY THE SPANISH AUTHORITIES
Yet the guilty verdicts are still coming in thick n fast against both he and Sidekick Trish. May saw:

Is his plan is to use Layan Hills Estate as a platform to find more investors to scam.
ReplyDeleteLayan Hills estate seems a fairly reputable bunch of lads, and considering Michael Earle had nothing to do with the design of the villa's.
The good people at Layan hills Estate are surely not paying this man any money you would hope, otherwise there would have been more check ups on him, so if he's on a commission only basis surely these people at Layan Hills estate would be worried about him introducing there clients to his idea, that will lose them money down the line.
Who knows what agenda Michael Earle is working to, although we all know from experience that it will be to make as much easy money as possible.
ReplyDeleteAs we have said, Anonymous, we find it amazing that Layan Hills have either not done their due diligence or have had the wool pulled over their eyes by Mike.
But, as anybody who dealt with Diseño Earle knows, as UPL knows, as the employees of Modern Zen know - anybody who comes into contact with Michael Earle ends up being hurt in some way.
We too are sure that Layan Hills are an honest and reputable organisation and we presume they are now aware of this blog. We invite them to either publish a comment on this blog or to contact us directly and in the strictes confidence to explain the situation at

This was a lesson learned all to late for some of us! Let's hope Layan Hills Estate realize sooner rather than later, that Michael Earle cannot be trusted.

ReplyDeleteBut realistically, when you have a past as filthy as Michael Earle it's forever catching up with you quicker and quicker.
He lasted, what, a year tops conning the employees and investors at Modern Zen before it all came crashing down around him.
Somehow we think his stint at Layan Hills Estate is already running on empty...
...and then where will he turn? A filthy name in Phuket, facing arrest in Spain. Where will he run to next?
....Maybe back to USA, one wonders why he ran away from there in the first place! He can't blame George W. or even there huge deficit problems, he left way before then! Just like he blames his lack of success in Spain and Dubai due to the economical crisis.

Layan Hills know how dangerous Mike can be for them. Phuket is a small place, a really small place. Layan Hills are consciously taking a big risk by having Michael Earle as marketing manager. And the thing is, what do they get but loosing credibility?

And that's just based on his off-white reputation, let alone his laughable prowess as a marketeer!
Well, The Business, Mike is one of those kinds of people who automatically blames his own failures on other people. If it wasn't Dubbya then it must have been Clinton; nothiing's ever Mike's fault you see.

Well yes, to a degree he's right - this blog has been instrumental in Binky's fall from grace, we're very very pleased to be able to admit - but why do we do this blog in the first place?
We don't do it because we have nothing better to do. We don't do it because we're just a bunch of whinging thugs as Trish - sorry, John Cartwright - has levelled against us in a different blog.
We do it because Michael Earle is a liar, a thief and a cheat. If he hadn't ripped us off for thousands upon thousands of euros each and every one of us this blog would never have been started.
You sow, you reap Mike. And you're going to be reaping for a good long time to come...
One wonders what his Sidekick Trish is doing whilst Binky desperately tries to scratch out some commission now that there isn't some poor company where she can play at being the Marketing Director.

I am with a company that sells real estate in Phuket & Samui. I know Layan Hills Estate, I think it is a good development.
ReplyDeleteIn Thailand the most important thing for a Realtor is making sure developers actually pay your commission and judging by Michael Earle's reputation, I'm not sure if I would be comfortable introducing my clients to Layan hills estate.
I do not want to cause any trouble for Layan hills estate, but after reading this blog, I'm not happy. I have not met Michael Earle, and do not wish to,I have heard about what bad he has done via friends.

ReplyDeleteFrom what we've seen Layan Hills looks very nice indeed, but as you say, when you have serial conman working for you it hardly engenders trust.
Indeed, we think Layan Hills will unfortunately be the next people to suffer through association with Michael Earle
Layan Hills should now know who Michael Earle is, so, if he is still there one week more (or a day!) it will not say anything good about Layan Hills.. This is my opinion.
ReplyDeleteWe think you're right Will. We think Layan Hills are now well aware of Michael's past as we emailed them a brief note, so the longer he's there the longer the shadow of doubt it casts on Layan Hills and - of course - the more harm it will do their reputation and their commerce
