Hello readers. Well, it's been an interesting few days. Our fisrt message in the Thai vernacular - saying what a liar, a thief and a cheat Michael Earle is - and a flurry of messages apparently from Phuket, suggesting Michael Earle Architect and sidekick Trisha Miller might have left Modern Zen Architecture.
We understand that they have actually technically been fired, having ripped off another unfortunate investor who at least had the sense of investment to maintain some kind of authority over them.
Now, we cannot state for certain whether any of this is true - it could be a master hoax by Binky, the master hoaxer, to get us to back off with blog.
But then again it could just be true.Afterall, a leopard never changes his spots and, with the help of this blog, it's entirely possible that the rot that is Michael Earle and sidekick Trish got found out before things went as far as they did in Spain where he OWES MILLIONS IN UNPAID SALARIES, CONTRACTS AND SOCIAL SECURITY CONTRIBUTIONS
If this is the case then Modern Zen have just played a masterstroke and done the best thing possible for their business in getting rid of Binky and sidekick.
We will keep you posted, readers, of developments here. Of course, we invite Modern Zen to make their own comments here - maybe even Binky and Trish....we know you are both avid readers, so c'mon, tell your side of things for all to see!

ReplyDeleteIt seems highly suspect that the diseño earle staff are commiserating with the anonymous poster on their, “…unfortunate experience of working for and being ripped off by Michael Earle architect”, yet nowhere did the anonymous poster indicate that he / she had been in the employ of Michael Earle or been ripped off by him. Unless of course the anonymous poster is also a member of the diseño earle staff, but surely the authors of this blog wouldn’t stoop to such duplicity in order to maintain the illusion of a more active blog, or would they??? Most of the contributors seem to be the same small handful of people blogging among themselves.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that any dissenting view here is typically greeted with the understandable suspicion that the poster is one of the two protagonists who are the subject of the blog, but that’s not the case here. I respect your efforts in raising awareness of some apparent injustices, but I’m someone who is not naturally inclined to believe everything I read on the internet is true, so I primarily treat this blog as occasionally amusing light reading rather than being a wholly factual account of past events. That said, I’m glad to see that some of the writers from Modern Design magazine are still contributing here for the entertainment of others.

ReplyDeleteIn response, our vital analytics figures are very encouraging indeed - steady, strong growth in readers from all over the globe, interesting keywords used to find us etc. We don't really need to fake, what, one or two messages per week in an attempt to get our figures up or give the appearance that more than 3 people read this blog. We simply don't need to do it.
You're quite right in that most of the bloggers are the same handful of people. We've always been very clear about that and how else would a blog run? We're not expecting the 1000 or so visitors we get a month to each contribute - some are merely casual observers like yourself (but, Anonymous - perhaps YOU'RE one of us, posting to give the semblance of balanced discourse?), some come to us by mistake, others are well-wishers, disgruntled ex-employees (see our 1st posting in the thai vernacular) and potential clients.
It doesn't really matter who they are or what they do - as long as the word is being spread that's ultimately job done.
Fair play to you for not believing everything on the web. Nor do we. But we have pointed our readers to other sites where you can see for yourselves just how much money Michael Earle Architect has stolen from people. These are official sites run by the Spanish authorities, recording all court proceedings. Perhaps you'll believe those.
Wehter people believe us wholeheartedly is, again, not really our concern. We hope they do, but at the very least we trust our blog will raise awareness and make any future employees or clients of Binky a little bit more thorough in finding out who they are dealing with and a lot more guarded. We hope, Anonymous, that were you in the position to be commissioning millions of euros into a new luxury villa you would not simply hand the cash over to Binky without doing your due diligence. If this blog would be instrumental in making you do that then again, job done.
Also, watch these pages over the next few days. We have been led to believe (or is it fed to believe) that the same thing has happened at Modern Zen as happened to us - failure to pay wages whilst Mike n Trish line their pockets.
We're waiting for some kind of corroboration from members of MZ. If they come, well we trust you'll accept that we were just and writing with a sole purpose. If they don't come, well, then we can prove nothing about the case in Thailand but will not stop doing what we can to make sure other people don't get ripped off as we were.
